What grades do you serve?
The private school serves kindergarten through 12th grade. The early learning center offers childcare beginning at the age of 3.
What is the main difference between the FTC and FES-EO scholarship? What is the FESUA?

What is the main difference between an FTC and an FES-EO scholarship?
FES-EO scholarships are government-funded and the payments come from the state of Florida to the Scholarship Funding Organization (“SFO”) serving the student each quarter. FTC scholarships are privately funded.

What is the FESUA?
Family Empowerment Scholarship Program for Students with Unique Abilities was established in 2021 by the Florida
legislature (Section 1002.394, Florida Statutes), offering families of students with disabilities, as young as 3 years of age,
a choice of either enrolling their student in another public school, or taking the opportunity to receive access to funds in
an education savings account (ESA) for their student
Do you accept mid-year transfers?
Yes!
How much does it cost?
With the passage of HB 1 all students are eligible for a scholarship to attend private school. Click the link below to apply.
Are you acredited?
Yes. Hart 2 Hart Christian Academy is duel accredited through the International League of Christian Schools and by Cognia.
What is your school hours/calendar?
School begins at 8:00 AM and ends at 2:45 PM. We typically follow the Columbia County School's calendar for ease of planning for families that have students enrolled in multiple schools. Typically the school year will begin mid-August and finish the end of May.
How many students are in each class
Typically we enroll between 15-20 students per class.
Are the teachers certified?
Our teachers all have a degree and are either certified through the Department of Education or through the International League of Christian Schools.
Are we a Christian School?
Yes. We are non-denominational and are highly involved with many different churches. It is not necessary for families to believe what we believe in order to attend, however, we do ask that you do not actively teach against our faith.
Are breakfast and lunch provided? If so, how much does it cost?

Step Up for Students offers several scholarships. The FTC is based on income and the Gardiner is based on special needs. Visit www.stepupforstudents.org for more information.

McKay for students that are in public schools that have an IEP or 504 and are wishing to transfer to a private school. Visit www.floridaschoolchoice.org for more information.

The early learning rates are listed under the Early Learning Center tab. Private school rates depend on the grade: 2023-2024 rates are as follows: K-5th is $8000 annually, 5th-8th is $8100 and 9th-12th is $8200 annually.

We allow parents to set up payment arrangements that best fit their situation. You are able to pay annually, quarterly, monthly, or even weekly if necessary.
